The Radiantcalor is a casing designed to release the heat generated by the band heaters on the plasticising cylinders of the presses. Its conformation offers at the same time an effective mechanical protection of the heaters and a significant energy saving.

Completely independent of the heaters, it is mounted and removed by simply acting on the two side screw pulls. The exterior can be made of Aluminated steel, in AISI 304 and AISI 316, while the interior is characterised by a reflective insert in aluminum with a corrugated surface that maximises the reverberation for Irradiation. A special longitudinal opening allows the release of power cables and, possibly, thermocouples.
