KERASTRIP band heaters are designed for heating extrusion machinery with operating temperatures up to 400°C. Thanks to the high temperatures reached and the particular conformation of the mosaic, the heat transmission takes place both by conduction and by irradiation and the spiral uniformly occupies the circuit composed of the ceramic mosaic of the heater, ensuring a perfect heat distribution. The minimum production dimensions are 100×20 mm, with specific powers of 4-6 W/cm², expandible up to 8 W/cm².

To facilitate installation, KERASTRIP heaters are designed to be fixed by means of a counter-flange, which guarantee perfect contact with the surface to be heated, or they can be inserted directly into a preformed hollow, eliminating the need for an external compression plate.

These heaters can be powered both single phase and three phase and are available according to the requirements of CE and UL Recognised standards.
