KERAPLAST band heaters are designed for heating extrusion machinery with operating temperatures above 280°C. These heaters are built with a resistant nickel/chromium winding, characterised by a low specific load that ensures a long service life and uniform heat distribution. The ceramic electrical insulation that surrounds them guarantees resistance to thermal shocks and high dielectric strength. The heater is completed by a power cable for high temperatures and an external sheet in stainless steel or perforated for optimal heat dissipation.

KERAPLAST are available with specific powers from 4 to 6 W/cm², extendible to 8 W/cm² for special applications.

These heaters, available from a diameter of 70 mm, can be powered in both single and three phases and are available according to the requirements of CE and UL Recognised standards.
