BATH HEATER
Indirect electrical exchangers are designed to work in explosive environments. They are less thermodynamically efficient than direct exchangers, since they require more extensive but essential heat exchange surfaces in applications where the process fluid would be too aggressive at working temperatures. Ideal for solutions up to 750 kW of power and operating temperatures up to 250°C.
In these exchangers, in fact, the process fluid is therefore not heated directly but passes through a serpentine immersed in a secondary fluid normally of water, glycol or oil, in turn heated by armoured elements. This configuration protects the heating elements from the risk of corrosion but requires safety devices such as level control sensors, expansion vessels and safety valves, to avoid overheating or overpressure.
Made with IP66-IP68 protection, they are certifiable for pressure devices in accordance with the PED Directive or the ASME code (including U-Stamp). For use in explosive areas they can be certified ATEX, IECEx, EAC, cCSAus, INMETRO.
